A four-page letter dated December 2, 1860 from Robert Todd Lincoln, Class of 1860, to his mother, Mary Todd Lincoln. Robert, the son of Abraham Lincoln, wrote the letter while he was visiting Exeter some months after his graduation from the Academy. The letter was written after his father's election, but before the inauguration.
